Find one your toddler will like (colors, similarity to big potty at home etc.) or take your toddler with you to pick out one.

Be prepared for potty training on the go with a portable potty to use in your car or in the public bathrooms. Also portable potty seat covers are a great alternative to use over public toilets.

Get kids potty books to help prepare your toddler using characters, like dinosaurs, that they like.

Remember to have TONS of extra undies on hand and get characters and fun patterns that your toddler likes, or have your toddler pick them out at the store.

Potty rewards jar or chart are great for positive reinforcement while potty training. Stickers, mini bubbles, and mini playdough from the dollar store make great prizes.
