DIY Ice Cream Sundae Bar

Happy Friday friends!

Did you know Sunday is National Ice Cream Day?! Well if you didn’t, now you do! To celebrate national ice cream day I wanted to share an inexpensive way to create your own DIY ice cream sundae bar or ice cream charcuterie board!

How-to set up your own ice cream sundae bar or charcuterie board:

First, had to your local dollar store to stock up on toppings! This is the best way to gather multiple options at an affordable price. Here are some topping ideas:

  • Cereal (we used cinnamon toast crunch – yum!)
  • Crushed up cookies or Oreos
  • Reese’s pieces or M&Ms
  • Skittles
  • Gummies (we used Swedish fish & watermelons)
  • Chocolate pieces broken up or morsels
  • Syrups – chocolate, caramel, strawberry
  • Sprinkles
  • Whipped cream
  • Cherries

Then gather your ice cream and ice cream cones. We decided to use a big 1 galloon Neapolitan cream bucket we found at Dollar Tree for around $5, but you can use any sizes and variety you’d like!

Last, set-up your ice cream bar or ice cream charcuterie board by arranging everything separately and giving everyone easy access to add-on their toppings!

Enjoy!
