10 Simple Sensory Bins

Hey, friends! We all know I can be a bit extra when it comes to sensory bins (see our hot cocoa bin & Elf spaghetti bin) however, sometimes keeping things simple is the best way for sensory play! Below are some ideas for simple sensory bin fillers that you probably already have in your home:

  1. Shaving Cream
  2. Rice
  3. Dry oatmeal
  4. Pasta (cooked or un-cooked)
  5. Cotton balls/pom-poms
  6. Salt
  7. Water
  8. Shredded Paper
  9. Dry Beans
  10. Bubble Wrap

These sensory bin fillers require nothing except little hands for sensory play for example, exploring textures and forming or tracing letters and shapes, but of course, you can add spoons, toys, whisks, shovels, etc. if you’d like.
