Valentine’s Day Sensory Wall & Kids Crafts & Activities

Love is in the air! Valentine’s Day is right around the corner so I’ve team up with my crafty blogging friends again to share some Valentine’s Day inspired kids crafts and activities!

For our activity I put together a fun Valentine’s Day themed heart sensory activity wall. Keep reading to create your own!

Supplies:

  • Contact paper
  • Sturdy tape (we used packaging)
  • Heart balloons from Dollar Tree
  • Heart stickers also from Dollar Tree

Supplies:

  • Contact paper

How-To Set Up Your Wall:

  • Find a space on the wall you’d like to turn into your sensory wall.
  • Measure (or just eye-it like I did) and cut contact paper to size.
  • Tape contact paper to wall with the sticky side facing OUT/towards you
  • Blow up balloons and place on the contact paper, have stickers nearby.
  • Now it’s playtime!

This activity is great for helping develop both fine and gross motor skills. Have your toddler take the balloons on and off placing them in different sections, throw the balloons in the air, and just have fun! I also placed some stickers on the ground nearby for my son to squat and grab, then peel and place on the wall to incorporate both motor skills. Check out this video HERE to see all of the fun!
