Hey friends! Today I wanted to share my favorite DIY photoshoot backdrop hack AND it only costs $2!
If you follow me on Instagram you probably already know I am a sucker for a fun do it yourself style photoshoot. That said, I am also very frugal, so to create our own backdrops I simple use two plastic tablecloths from Dollar Tree- that’s it!
To make your own just tape one tablecloth to the wall and one directly under on the floor – since they are a dollar a piece it is the most inexpensive way I’ve found to create a clean backdrop. After, just add your theme décor and you’re ready to start snapping!
Check out my youngest son’s THREE-REX birthday photos below for an example or click HERE to see our Valentine’s Day photoshoot last year using a pink tablecloth.

PS- You can snag this adorable Dino party décor from Target HERE and stay tuned for a mini balloon column tutorial!

I totally need to try this. Pinning for later.
Great idea, I am going to try this! And YES to the tape on the floor piece to keep it taut. And you could do any color backdrop! Again, great idea!
I love it! My daughter loves dinosaurs! I only did a backdrop for her first birthday. I may have to try something again this year for her.
Oh, I love this idea, this is so cute and easy. I am going to try this for my son’s birthday.
SO cute. Your backdrop looks AMAZING!
It’s such a great design with a minimalist look into it. Thanks for sharing this with us, it’s definitely a great reference for us.
such a cute and easy photo backdrop..i recall my teenagers dino phase:)
I definitely need to try this, my daughter has her 6th birthday next month and I already know it’s going to be less of a party than ever before, so having a photoshoot for her birthday would be such a fun thing for her (she loves to pose, and take pictures)!
So cute. My daughter’s birthday is coming up. I think I’ll try this for her
I will definitely try this. I’m so blank for themes and creativity while clicking
