Hot Cocoa Cloud Dough Sensory Bin

Happy Friday Friends!

It is getting CHILLY out there! Being cooped up inside during these cold winter months can be rough, so I’ve partnered with my blogger friends to share some winter-themed crafts and activities to help keep you and your little ones busy!

For my activity, I put together a non-toxic Hot Cocoa Cloud Dough Sensory Bin. Keep reading for the recipe and full craft and activity idea list!

Non-Toxic Hot Cocoa Cloud Dough:

Ingredients:

  • 4 Cups Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Oil (I used vegetable)
  • 1 packet hot cocoa mix

Recipe:

  • Mix all ingredients together
  • Knead until dough forms (use a dash more oil if dough is too dry)
  • Watch how-to video here:

Hot Cocoa Cloud Dough Sensory Bin:

After you’ve made the cloud dough simply transfer it to a bin, I use ones from Dollar Tree, and dig in! I recommend topping the cloud dough with some marshmallows and adding some cups and shovels to the bin for more fun!

Warning: Cloud dough can get MESSY! I highly recommend putting a dollar store plastic tablecloth on the floor to help contain the mess and make clean-up easy!
